Doggies are cute

I have a good thing to announce!

I am no longer afraid of.......dog (only one particular dog)
Let me introduce him to all of you. His name is called Pistol. Super friendly. Super active. Super playful. Whole body is super damn FURRY. I love it man. haha.

I can't believe that I've actually overcame that 'phobia' for dogs.
Okay, I shan't say much. Let the photo do the talking.

Live strong

Never think you are useless!
I believe no one in this world is useless.

To my friend(you know who you are:) who is reading this:
If you ever think that way, I think you are just thinking too little of yourself.
Everyone of us have our own problems. Be it family problems, relationship problems, studies or problems related to our work.

Nonetheless, always have this
Strong belief in mind: You must believe in yourself, in order for things to work out right.

No one in this world is born a genius.
Everything requires hard work.
Never look down on yourself when you have troubles.
When troubles seem to bother you, you should be thinking of how to solve your problems soon enough so as to ease the pain at a faster rate.

For one day that you think that you are useless, your life shortens by a day.
Believe me or not, normally that's how things work.

The more you think you cannot do it, the more you do not even want to try to do it.
You never know your ability of doing certain things if you do not try them.
There is always a first time for everything.
It's only from failures that you gain something from.

In other words, failure is a blessing in disguise. Or rather, you never discover something great if you don't go through any pain or troubles in life.

Learn to share your woes too. You will feel a lot better after pouring all your sorrows and troubles out. It is just like vomiting. You will definitely feel much better after it.

`Be strong, and let your heart take courage.

Lessons learnt

The camp was a very meaningful and memorable one.
We always say that we will definitely learn something from it at the end of the day.
And in the end, what values most is the bonding and friendship we gained from it.

However, in this camp, there's something extra that we have learnt.
That is, we realised that we are very fortunate as compared to a minority group of people in this world.
We should thank god for what we have, and be thankful for what we already have.
It's a sad thing to know that some people are determined to learn more, but they are not able to.
They just do not have the ability to do so. So the least that we can do for them is to make them happy!

From this camp, I've discovered that they are rather easily contented and for the things that they have, they already feel satisfied. Sometimes it's good in a way; to be simple- minded.

And at times, 'ignorance is a bliss'!

Really glad that I'm part of the team.

Hope they're doing really great now. And for the rest of the years down the road.

---A food for thought: Remember that there are always people who are less fortunate than us. We must not take things for granted!---

This is the GOSSIP GIRL season for Ms Cy (:

WOAH cool. I can now surf the Web!

Something has cropped up, which caused all these inconvenience.
I was not able to login to any of the webpages since yesterday.
Felt so bad. I mean life is all about IT. Or at least it is, for me. (:

Sometimes when you feel you have to do something quite urgently, but that 'something' that you need is just not there for you. How will you feel?

Well, for me, I'll feel rather irritated with myself and feel kind of 'ARGHHHH' for an hour or so. Oh but, that feeling do dies off after awhile or so.

So I guess I'm good at consoling myself wholeheartedly, but ain't really good at solving troubles (even my own). I've got to master that skill in order to feel better when I have (any) troubles in the future. Hee.

Okays. I'll be having a 3days2nights camp at somewhere kind of ULU in the West. So I guess I'll be saying tata to my lappie for these few days.

The thing about the camp is I'm in two minds about it. Reason being, I'm quite looking forward to going to the camp, however, I KNOW I WILL DEFINITELY miss watching GOSSIP GIRL in my cosy room. haha!
You know GOSSIP GIRL is really GREAT. And I mean It is really good. It's definitely worth mentioning it! I think I'm kinda hooked on this series. My butt just simply refuse to get up from my stupid chair, and you know you're hooked on the show when you are holding on to your ready-to-explode bladder. =x

Fret not, I'll be back in time to catch my remaining episodes of the GOSSIP GIRL. and from what I've learnt from it......

XOXO,
GOSSIP CY
WOOPSIE
*Work has been fine for my friends and I so far. Hope there'll be something good coming up next week!

The Devil King PartII

Maō (魔王 a.k.a The Devil King), is a Japanese remake of the Korean suspense drama series titled Ma Wang (마왕) which aired on KBS 2TV in 2007. The drama stars Satoshi Ohno of Arashi and Toma Ikuta, both under the talent agency Johnny & Associates.

Synopsis
Ryo Naruse (Satoshi Ohno) is a two-faced lawyer: on the surface, he is a kind-hearted soul, representing the poor and earning the nickname "The Angelic Lawyer" from the press; but unbeknownst to anyone else, he is also a "devil," meticulously plotting the perfect revenge against those responsible for his younger brother's death. Naoto Serizawa (Toma Ikuta) is a gung-ho detective whose overzealous methods mask a dark past which he is trying to overcome. When a family acquaintance of Serizawa's is murdered, Serizawa is thrust in the middle of a multiple-homicide case which stirs up memories of a dark event from his past - and Naruse's.

The Devil King

Have been watching The Devil King for the past few days.
I love it lots lots!
I think Japanese can really act pretty well, especially with their '会说话的眼睛' expressions. They are good la. Really.
After watching it, I think I'll give it a 9/10 for this show!:D

I went to Bras Basah to look for some reference books earlier on, but I didn't manage to get any books in the end. Instead, I bought a mouse for my lappie!

Reached home and continued with my show. I feel great today! cos' I don't have to work and gets to stay home.
So actually I've been rather preoccupied with a few things for the past few weeks. One of the things I've been doing is:

Oh ya! About yesterday...
I had 2 meetings at GSCC. Met some new people. We went to have our desserts at a dessert shop in Serangoon Gardens. What can I say? The desserts are really delicious. I got to know 2 of Andrew and Ryan's friends. And it so happened that one of their friends, RT, shares the same surname as I do. The coincidental thing is that his father's name is also the same as my dad's name!

Okay, I had a great day with them yesterday. We'll be having our camp at Sarimbun Scouts Camp next week. So let's see how it goes. It has been quite a while since my last stay at a camp.

Some photos that were taken during my trip to Mount Faber...

The sky's getting darker

and darker...

and my dinner was yum yum yummy!

*I'm craving for Starbucks coffee!!!

心跳

What will you do when you miss someone?

The first time when I saw you...

My heart beat TWICE.

I am like a deer; bumping onto anything that I see. (小鹿乱撞)

I wonder if you feel the same too.

I am gifted, so are you (day)

Just got back from work.
To say seriously, I think I'm tired.
But, still, I've kind of enjoyed myself.
What I can say is, at least I've got a nice friend as company.
Throughout the whole day, we did about 40% of our job and another 60.9999% of SLACKING. haha.

Well, we must enjoy ourselves and work hard at the same time right?

However, I've got no idea why I'm having a headache now. hmmmm....must be the consequence of sleeping late for almost everyday. BOO..

HELL NO, I'm not going to fall sick. NEVER!
I still have a long holiday to go.

Oh ya, our work station today was at Bishan.
I love the idea of spending time over there, cos' It's just a stop away from my house!
Will be going there again tomorrow morning.
So far, I have got no complaints to make. Just that the brochures are heavy enough to make our hands 'swell' and shoulders ache.

And the best thing that've happened was that we have told a lie. Whoops.
But I promise that that was a 善意的谎言.

*I need a mouse. I need a mouse. not the one that's able to move on its own, but the non- moving object.=x

I think I should sleep early tonight.
Do you think I can do it?

Growing up

Sometimes it takes years to really grasp what has happened to your life..
Learning to treasure and stay contented with what we have now is ultimately most important..

Semester 2 Results are out. Not very well done. Now that I've seen my results, I have something to tell myself now.
->Success is achieved and maintained by those who try and keep on trying with Positive mental attitudes. I'll never give up trying harder and harder. ;)

WORK DAMN HARD + PLENTY FAILURES + A BIT OF LUCK = SUCCESS.

Define Success.

In a lifetime, what is really called a success?
By earning 6k a month is called success?
By buying a dream car is called success?

Being successful..it is just like a business.
You start everything from scratch with both of your hands, seeing it expands slowly, getting into the right track, making profits, being listed in the stock market..and it con’t to soar. It's Neverending.

Just like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.

Can we be like them?

Another part and parcel of life. Being a commoner, we will find our way to success too. It all depends on how you define your own success.

First thing first,

you need to be on the right track!

You're right son

Kinda like a wake-up call and a virtual slap for some.
Click for a clearer view. Really very meaningful.(:

"You're right son. We didn't have those things when we were young so........."

Just another Normal day

My mood for today is rather OKOK only.
However, I've accomplished some things today, which a happy thing to know.

WE thought that we were supposed to be playing badminton in the afternoon.
Yet, we didn't follow as planned in the end.
Well, I did complained a little but still, I actually didn't mind at all, as long as we did something together.

So, we have decided to catch a movie instead!
We bought tickets for Dragonball Evolution and we went into the theatre pretty early!
Overall, I must say it is quite an enjoyable show. It's somehow to my liking yeah. But, it had an unexpected ending and it's those endings where you'll go, 'umm, no more? Only like this?'. That's why May and I were saying that there would be a continued series to it. Maybe say, Dragonball Evolution 2 or something like that.

Received a call from Si Ting regarding my job, which is starting on Wednesday. There's a change of venue for work, hmm, bad thing. It's FAR. Tanjong Pagar! GOSH.

Anyway, Semester 2 exams results are coming out tomorrow. I dare not think too much about it despite the inevitable (scary) thought of it. Nonetheless, I think I'll still be able to get a good night's sleep later on. (:

Guess I'll most probably 'hang out' in the library tomorrow. I think it's the best place to hang out if you have nothing to do, cos' you don't have to squeeze through the crowds in the shopping malls or queue up for anything. There's also FREE seats and air- con! Moreover, it's quiet. That's what I like most. It's definitely one place which I will sit in for hours, or even for a day.

All about my day

-A recent photo with Ms Vanaja-

Hello.
Now it's about today.
Went to Queenstown to collect the Tins for Flag Day.
Bleahsss
I get to do such a stupid thing again, after so long.
I seriously don't like it.

Anyway, we did have an okay time together. haha.
The times when we complained, chatted, and discussed about some people and some things were the 'okay' times. haha.
Other than that, think selling flags isn't fun at all lah.

We went to Marina Square for lunch! WOohoo.
Actually, there's 2 things I think I should do for this remaining holidays.
Which is to, cut down on my intake of food, and seriously try to spend a little lesser.

Saving more is important.
I need that for my future.

So after the whole thing, Vic and I headed to Novena Sq to get our rockery BB tea. haha.
It's not that bad yeah.
Felt kind of tired and decided to take our train home.
And home sweet home.

I didn't expect myself to be really that tired to take a 30mins nap at 8pm. =x
But felt much better after that.
Continued with reading.
Amazingly ate 3 bananas today.
It's great!
Helps digestion. So I guess I'll expect a few trips to the toilet tomorrow.
Whoops.

Random.

I missed my very straight hair.

and

I can't seem to be able to find these 2 of my good friends. :(

About...

Yesterday.
Went to sun- tan with Vic, and woo the sun was great.
Perhaps god listened to our prayers. It didn't rain!
Passed Vic's long awaited present to her and her reaction was so not- expected (of normal people), but rather expected of her.haha. Well, can't expect much, as she always seem rather calm in most occasions. We caught up with each other a lot. Doing one activity most of the time there: Talking. We've decided to bake cookies together the week after next! Cool!

After that, we got home and I finished up a show (DVD). Step Up 2 is quite a nice one. Got to go to school later on for the Microbiology Quiz. However, we'll just be there to help out.

Someone recommended me a comics to read online. It seems nice to me. I will continue reading it, but sometimes it doesn't seem to load (the pages).

IT show is on, but should I go? Seems like I'll only be browsing at people and things if I were to be there. Currently, I have nothing to get in mind. Well, will still consider going, to look around. I may not like the big crowd there, but okay, I'll see how it goes.

SUNDAY, WE MUST START ON OUR PROJECT! haha. A MUST. Never to procrastinate again!!!

A promise.
Deal.

A Million Dollar Prize

Q: “If you had a million dollars waiting for you at the finishing line, how fast would you run?”

A: “I’ll take my time…It’s waiting for me anyway.”

What is Yours, will eventually be Yours. Belief in yourself. Faith in what you do. Maybe not the million-dollar prize. But you’ll get to the finishing line.

Sometimes in Life

“Sometimes in life, you need others to give you a chance.”

“Sometimes in life, you need to give others a chance.”

“Sometimes in life, you need to give yourself a chance.”

To Real-ise a potential. To take the journey Life takes you.

Regret is “What was wrong” and “What had been”;

Greater Regret is “What could be right” and “What could have been”

Deliberate. Think. Feel. Believe. Trust. The longest and hardest way in the world is to go one full circle and come back to the same spot. But who is to say you have emerged any less or are none the richer? Whether to a different spot or back to the same spot. Let Life take you. Sometimes in Life, you need to give yourself a chance.

Something to share

Confidence

Having the latest clothes or a great haircut doesn't matter. It's how you carry yourself, what you believe in and who you are that make you attractive.

Doing things that challenge you transforms the way you see your life. It keeps your expectations growing. It's only afterwards that you say: 'I knew I could do it.'
*The more you do, the more you can imagine doing.

-Make your future bigger than your past by seeking growth rather than applause-

Appreciate the things in life that are precious
Money is great, but it's not worth sacrificing everything for. Some of the richest people you meet are some of the poorest.

Lastly, life is too precious to waste time worrying. :)

Holiday

A few days of my holidays have past. Mine's great. How's yours?

Went to sing K at the Somerset Partyworld for around 5 hours. That's amazing, and felt good after that! :D Thereafter, went snapping at Esplanade rooftop.

Day After next, made a trip to terminal 3, and ate Popeye's there. There was a long queue and the queue didn't seem to end. Was watching The Slumdog Millionaire and thought that it was really quite a nice show, despite it being the Indian actors and actresses- based movie. haha. In contrary to that, they have also won several awards. So yes, it's worth watching.

Oh yeah, watched the IP MAN too, and it was WOahhh nice. The actions were nicely portrayed and bloody scenes at necessary timings haha. It was cool la.

The next big event coming up would be the Sundown Marathon. Woohoo! (:

Just: For One More Day
