All about my practicals!(:

Tired.
This word has been revolving in my head for the past few days.
I wanna erase it from my brain, starting from tonight.

Practical Lessons.
Ever since Year 2 has started, Practicals became a daily chore for me.
It becomes something that I will do religiously, everyday.

And the best thing is,
I enjoyed all my practical lessons!!!
Many thanks to my lecturers and the great friends I have with me.
Always.

Unconditional love

Hmm.

I didn't know that unconditional love from a dog can actually change someone so much.

Hmms.

If you don't get what I mean, you can click onto the link named 'Lover' in my faves list.

Happy reading. May your days be overflowed with love. :)

My precious weekends :(

Time flies when I'm preoccupied with things. This week has been a rather long one for me.

On Friday after school, I was thinking, HURRAY! School has ended soo early for me, and so It's time for me to go home and rest! I knew I had a meeting to attend at 7pm. But little did I realise that I remembered the time wrongly. The meeting actually commence at 12pm(but apparently, i didn't remember correctly).
SIGH!!!

So I was on my way out of school with ren and bei. I've promised to show the way to where the cash converter is at AMK central to ren. BUT. When I was on my way out of the school gate, I bumped into Eugene. He asked me where I was heading to, cos' I was heading towards the main gate. So I said, I'm going out with friends. Then, he reminded me, 'Hey, there's a meeting at 12pm(which is NOW) you know?'
And I was thinking...
'eh? I thought meeting is at 7pm?'
Then shortly after the confusion, I realised I've remembered wrongly. However, I still accompanied ren and bei to the MRT station and walked back to school thereafter. We've always got unlimited things to talk about, and they made me laugh so much on the Last Day of school of this week. We laughed so hard till we cried. Nono. I mean They made me laugh so hard till I cried.

Yesterday, I've got a headache. That's bad. However, I still had a great day.
Nonetheless, I still wanna say the weather is seriously killing us. DAMN HOT lah.

Fast and Furiously ended my Saturday.

This weekend is so short. I hate it. I want more time. But I can't wait for Monday to come again.

*I hate it when people pushes me to do things, when I'm alone doing it myself. So stop pushing me so hard. I need someone to help me. Yet, my partner isn't helping me much, as she's having an attachment. Well, I can understand. So, instead of pushing me, can anyone deploy another person to help?

Are You Up To It? It's A Challenge

When you start to have too many things to do at a time, the most important thing to note before you start doing everything is:

To

Prioritize

Your

Work

.

If You Still Don't Know How To Do That Now, It's TIME to LEARN.

It's all about TIME MANAGEMENT.

TIRED Day.

I like this Photo! After a day out with Vic at Sentosa.

Ever since school has started, I've been really busy and pretty drained out everyday.
Now that I have time to rest my tired legs, It's time for me to reflect for the day again.

Took when we were really free. Kelvin and I.

It's the Annual Club Crawl today, and I'm helping out for my CCA, The Student Union(SU). Though I've not been active in SU for the first year of Poly, I promised myself that I will commit myself to at least 2 CCAs for the rest of my days in Poly. :) It's a goal for me, to achieve by the end of Poly Year 3. My job in this Club Crawl is to usher people, guide the people around and help out in the logistics. Apparently for the whole of today, I've been doing more of the ushering of people as compared to the rest. And seriously speaking, I don't really like it. Can ask me personally if you wanna know why. Just kind of tired now to elaborate any further. And when Vic, Ren and Bei ended their lesson(ps: i wasn't in class with them today), they came to look for me in the Sports Hall. Okay, so I toured them around the entire Sports Hall, where all the various CCA booths were. Actually, May and I had already visited most of the booths before they came to look for me. We've even signed up for 2 new CCAs together!

So when VRB came to look for me, I just brought them to the 2 booths that I've shown interest in and 'psycho' them to join them too. hahaha. And I managed to do that!!! Of course with them signing up very willingly. :) So the 2 CCAs that we've signed up were mainly the Sketch Art Club and the SIP NYP (some social entrepreneur CCA). Both of them are newly proposed CCAs. I'm just glad to be part of the pioneers.

Towards the end of the day, we had our NYP's very own Percussion and String Ensemble performances repectively. Okay let me say how I feel when I was watching their performances and my feeling right after that. Firstly, On Percussion, It's really COOL and Hyped up and makes the whole atmosphere lively once again. I got really very jumpy and happy when I heard their drum beats and sorts like that. DAMN COOL CAN. I love it to bits. May consider joining. But. There's still BUTS lah. Okay, now on the Strings Ensemble. In comparison to the Percussion Ensemble, It's on more of a serious note and more soothing. You must know, One's more junkie music and the other's more of classical music. I like both, really. :DD Tell ya something. While I was listening to the Strings performance, I really got so engrossed in the whole piece of melody and almost felt like falling into my lala land! What does this show? This shows that they did a great job in creating a 'soothing' effect! I'm really very very very 陶醉 in the few performances that they did.

Strings Ensemble

For the Percussion performance, WOW. It can be described by one word; Marvellous! Although I've heard and seen the same performance before, the whole feeling is there once again. WOOHOO. I love it man. My heart will just go with the beats and move your bordaaaayyy baby. Move to the rhythm yo.

Percussion Ensemble

That's about all for the Pretty and Handsome performances by my fellow friends. After the performances, it's time to leave. But we took a few photos before we left that place.

Tomorrow will be another long day in school. I'll be attending Cell Technology's Practical lesson tomorrow morning before heading to the Sports Hall.

Si Ting's Birthday Celebration in School's Mac

Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day!!!

Day out with vicvic (neoprint effect)

Tired is the word of the day.
I must sleep early tonight. Bless me.

Creating Impressions

I've been wondering about something.

About how we impress people(unnoticeably).

Simple as It may seem, but It's not easy to do it.

Just like Susan Boyle, the woman who have WOW-ed all of those who watched 'Britain's Got Talent'.
She is already 47, yet she can sing like 18! I think our voices are the greatest gift from God. Be It coarse, high- pitched or low- pitched voice, It's still you. It is your so- called 'identity'. People listen to your voice when they speak to you, and It's a form of recognition. Everyone's voices are unique in their own ways.

You have to like it no matter what. Even if you don't like it, you just have to live with it throughout your entire life.

Her new song:

So, have you decided on whether to like your voice, or not?

Will This Happen?

You gazed at me
Serene and unsmiling
I never knew you
But you seem to know me

I search your face for clues
Signs of some unspoken message
Our eyes meet
But you give nothing away

Your time on earth was brief
Did you have hopes and dreams
That were never realised?
Am I anything like you?

Time, an abyss, separates us
But we are forever linked
Blood, flesh and bone
You are part of me

All I have is this photograph
This image of a stranger
Somehow familiar
Frozen in time

A hundred years from now
Will a descendant look at mine?
And wonder
Who are you?

Haha? A 'joke' that made me laugh

DBSK - HUG (English). - DBSK (동방신기)
Hello...I couldn't believe what I saw (referring to my sms).

A joke of the day
I felt weird, confused, funny and happy at the same time when I just got the info. about this guy who actually had a crush on me. I laughed over it. hahahaha.

He was my ex- classmate in JC. As I have mentioned many times, I wasn't someone who talked a lot then. So, I didn't expect anyone to know me that much or well. I hardly spoke in class too. I was rather low- profile back then. That guy, was also quite mysterious I think. All along I've been thinking that he's acting weirdly and all of us always commented about his weird behaviours haha. But nonetheless, he's quite alright overall. Cracked very weird and racist jokes. LOL. Even on religions. Bad in some ways, but it did make us laugh.

Anyway, that's about him and that's the past. We didn't even contact each other anymore. But I still remember quite vividly that we did discussed on like what courses and schools to pick during the post- release of results period. And today is another surprise contact from him. ha. He merely messaged me a 'Hi'. And I almost didn't want to reply. hahahaa. Wouldn't feel it's a very important sms. Almost ignored it, but well, just thought we were once classmates, so it's still okay to catch up.

Okay. Then, I couldn't believe when he told me I was the girl he had a crush on. haha. cos' He did told me before about him having a crush on a gal in SRJC. But didn't mention who, and I didn't 'poke' him further. And he said the reason he didn't feel like telling was cos' he was speaking to me and yup.

A short 'conversation' we had:
(Let's name him X)
X: haha u noe ma in jc i use to have a crush on a gal

me: Ya. But u nv wanted to tell me who..so secretive.

X: i didn't tell u cause i dun wan her to noe abt it

me: Oh. U think i will tell her? It has been so long after jc alrdy. Haha can jus say lor.

X: I already tell u hu le in the msg b4 tis

me: (shocked face facing my phone's screen) ((went to open my inbox to check which he's referring to))U mean the gal u have been mentioning all along is me? Lol joke of the day liao :D

X: im nt jokin:)

me: (In my head i was thinking: OMG this is scary) Oh really ah. But why? I thought i wasn't attractive in jc lol. My fattest time so far. Chubbiest time also haha...

X: haha where got chubby u tink too much just tink that u r a veri nice n wonderful person ( AFTER SEEING these 2 words, 'nice n wonderful', I was like WOW?!)

me: Wah haha thanks. But thought i talked quite little last time also.

X: haha ya but u dun talk loudly n rubbish like 'A' lol. (A is another gal classmate of mine)

*ok, end of this. We kind of changed a topic after this sentence hahah. It's bad to pinpoint someone behind their back*

So we were talking about those people whom we knew in JC were hypocrites. I started the discussion, and little did i expect that he will agree with me too. He even told me who's the greatest Hypocrite in class. OPPS.

That's all about the catching up. Nice nice. But the crush was in the past hahhaa. A very funny memory for me to keep.

It's true... ...

It's true.
About how I stand.
That pose that I am always in when I stand.
haha.
I didn't know that Elicia took this photo of us(our back views).

Zoom your eyes close to the photo and you will notice that I was standing on one leg.

Not a very good habit haha.
But, afterall, It's still soooo me. It's my identity! =XX

Time- table is out. hais

My Time- table for year 2 sem 1 is out.

An overview of my time- table:
Every Tuesday and Friday, lessons will commence at 8am
The rest of the days, lessons start at 9am
My earliest and most xing nang day is still Wednesday, which will end at around 12.55pm. (:
The day that ends the latest is Tuesday, 6pm.

If I never remember wrongly, it was also the case for last sem.

Okay lah, not that bad.

The only BAD thing is, there will be 4 practical lessons per week and that means there will also be TONNES of REPORTS to be done.

Don't know whether to be sad or happy.
But still feel that I'll enjoy the entire process though. (:

For Memories' Sake

Good Friday (10.04.09)
My morning was spent strolling at MacRichite Reservoir, which includes the HSBC Tree Top Walk. We were really sickly tired, and tiredly sick after the whole journey.

I spent the rest of my day baking cookies and cooking at A.J's house. I've got to admit that I really enjoyed myself there. We baked the cookies from early afternoon to late night (about 10pm). The whole process can be described by one word; Tired. Three of us had headaches after that. It must be the lack of sleep and some other unknown reasons.

After what seemed hours of baking, all of us felt extremely hungry. We decided to cook some simple dishes as our dinner. 'A' was the cook of the day, while the rest of us were in charged of the preparing of ingredients and dishes. The end products turned out to be pretty appealing and I felt it was really delicious. The reason is simple: We were really very very very HUNGRY.

End Product:

Yummy Otah Fried Rice!!!

Today
We had a picnic at Pasir Ris Park. 3 couples and 2 of us girls. (: We had Potluck, and we laid our food on the mat. I still remembered that I couldn't find them when I reached the place. It was a very bad feeling as I was super hungry and I'm also perspiring profusely at the same time. 'ARGH' was my feeling then! That was around 2pm and I still have not had my lunch!

After all of the people have arrived, we settled down and chit- chat for quite some time. The few other things that we did other than chatting, are playing of games and munching of our food.

Initially, I was in two minds about going for this outing. The reason was mainly cos' I was really very tired after yesterday. And I also feel that I needed some rest. However, after I came back from this trip, I'm glad to say, I didn't regret going. I've had fun doing my favourite thing(talking) and socialising with those whom I wasn't really close to. It's a nice and pleasant day spent.

BTW, I saw Adeline, Adrian and Nicholas(my JC ex-classmates) at Pasir Ris Park when I was on my way back. They spotted me first, and they were like, 'Is that Chi Ying? X3'. Then Elicia and Gerald told me that someone's calling for me. And that's when I met their eyes. Let's rewind time back to my JC years...

Way back in JC, I was quite a reserved child. My class 2S10 was kind of divided. We have different cliques in the class and we were never united. These three people that I met happened to be in the other clique of my class. I wasn't close to them, but we were still classmates afterall. So well, I still called out their names just now hehe. Think they got kind of surprised when I shouted. Cos' as I've mentioned, I wasn't very out- spoken then(haha?).
BUT, those were my past.

I'm glad we're Friends

It seems to me that WE will always be having fun laughing and talking about various things whenever we get together.

Sharon, your welcome hand- sign and your '嗨!大家好,我回来了!' was great. I miss you so much, especially your contagious laughter. Not forgetting to mention those delicious food that you always share and your very generous personality will always 'ink' in our heart. One very special trait about you: you always will want to share any good things with us. Be it VCDs, DVDs, Good Food, Good desserts, and the list goes on.

Bei Bei, your funny imitations never fail to make our day. You always come up with many many creative creations and it becomes your trademark.;)Seriously, you're a good entertainer in our group!:D Although there may be some things out there that you may think will put your spirits down, to us, you are still our 开心果.

Victoria! My very very great companion hahaha. She is gonna be my partner for life! Opps. Do not get it wrong. We are 'sisters', not what you think we are. Sometimes it's hard to describe you. You are just unpredictable and I love your unpredictably weirdness that turns into immense uniqueness(that's what i like about you). I just love and enjoy the times when we're together and the things that we do together. We laugh with each other and that's what GREAT friends are all about. We are not meanies to laugh at each other.

Sometimes, I may hurt you, be it speaking it directly to your face, or indirectly. But, you all know, I CARE(:
It's not about correcting each other's mistakes, but I think it's more of learning from one another. Telling one about their mistakes and flaws are just one way to let someone know about it and it's also a way for them to discover them, lest they'll never know the truth forever. It's good in a way as, though they might be mad at you for an instance, however, the TRUTH is, the reason why they even let you know is because they are concerned and they treasure you.

I don't really like it

Three words that I realised I don't like to hear from people.

'Up To You'

It sounds very, 'I heck care about you' feeling to me.
*no offense to those who have said these words to me before though. :)

Belittled

When will the last straw come?
The final blow.
The crossroad.
The decision time.

Ever encountered such situations?
Ever caught anything that you've never wanted to see in your entire life?
Ever got belittled by anyone?
Ever thought that your world is ending?
Ever thought that you can't seem to make any decisions?

If you say yes to any of the above, then it's time to reflect.

Memorable chalet

Okay. Now. A very detailed summary of what we did during our stay at the chalet on the 5th and 6th April 2009.
It was done by my dearest classmate, Gerard!
He was also the planner of the Cycling expedition. (:
Thanks Gerard!

PS: 'I' is referring to himself, Gerard. Not me.

Day 1 : 1430 - 1700

I cycled to the chalet at the main entrance of the GoldKist Resort and started making phone calls and asking people where are they. Besides me, Samson reached around 2.35 so I met him and walked to the entrance. Called people again and asking where are they. So we stood at the bus stop near the entrance and just waited. About 10 mins, Victoria reached, so we went to find her and 10 mins after that Gaya and Diana arrived and I went to find Gao. So we all met back at the chalet main building and chit chat till the whole gang arrived at 4.30+. I asked them buy me something to eat so they bought me chee kuay. Thanks! It was nice. Went to our room which was quite big and had 2 beds. Unpack all our stuff and got ready for the cycling expedition. Gaya, Ping Ying, Diana and Shaun didn't want to go so they stayed in the room and watch tv, play murderer etc.

Day 1 : 1700 - 2330

So now it was 5pm and the cycling expedition had Me,Gao,CY,Vic,Sam,Ken and Jiaqi. They all went to rent bikes while me and gao waiting for them. After they came back, I gave a short briefing and took a before expedition photo. We set off for our little expedition. Made stops here and there and took nice pictures. They said it would take 2 hours but it seem to take 6 hours. Lol. It was getting dark at Sunplaza park and I told Gaya and Diana that if we were not back by 7+ they may leave, so I had to call them and ask them if they wanted to leave because we weren't gonna be back in time. Very sorry we ditched you guys =( It was 9+ when we arrived at Changi Village so I told them to go to the park first while I went to get new brakes cause mine had worn out and used my front wheel breaks which it's damn dangerous. Kept hitting my balls whenever I brake to hard. It really hurts! After I changed it they were lost. So I had to find them and gather all together again. Vic and Cy wanted to return the bikes and take a bus back but the shop at Changi close at 8pm so we were too late already.(that was also when the few of us couldn't find our way and had to wait for Gerard) Had no choice, we took a break at Changi Village and they ate while Me,Sam and Gao just look over. At 1opm we left for 'home'. It was a beautiful night. Cool air, nice scenery, good company, it was just perfect. Reached back at 11.30 and most of us had big butt pains! Sitting on the bike for 6 hours what do you expect.

Day 2: 0145-0400

Went to play cards, drank beer, played murderer and talk, laugh and joke. Samson had a sore throat. Make him sound soooo manly la. Damn funny keep asking him say sentences and keep making fun of him and ahem! Hehe. At 4am I decided to catch some shut eye but was still quite awake.

Day 2: 0630 - 1100

Woke up by noises and just couldn't really go back to sleep so I woke up and took a stretch. Soon the rest woke up. Only me, Sam, Kenny, Shaun and PY slept. Woke up wanted to see sunrise at 7+ so I lied down but then I missed it! Anyway was cloudy so can't see much. Soon all got up and me and Sam lead CY to the Macs. Went there wanted to eat but CY had the breakfast vouchers for the buffet breakfast so me and Sam took it. Hehe. Had a damn hearty breakfast for a damn long time. Ate till I wanna burst. After the lovely breakfast and countless cups of orange juice I met Gao at the beach and walk and talk about live, love and anything under the sun literally. Haha. Details of the talk is too lengthy for this post =D Went back at 10am, and that's when Cy dropped dead on the bed. We chilled till 11am when we checked out.
